Gail Taylor

Gail graduated from the University of Bradford in 2003 with a MEng in Chemical Engineering and a Diploma of Industrial Studies. During her degree, Gail gained experience from three industrial placements in the pharmaceutical, chemical and petroleum sectors. Whilst working for a major multinational petroleum company she conducted an energy efficiency study of the turbines used to produce power for an offshore platform.
After graduating she worked for a leading pharmaceutical company for five years. She was based in the Strategic Technologies group within R&D. Her projects included crystallisation using supercritical fluid processing and the development of milling technologies for the particle size reduction of drug substances.
In 2009 Gail successfully completed the Masters course in Management of Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary, University of London. During the MSc course she took part in the 10th Congress for the European Intellectual Property Institutes Network (EIPIN). She was awarded the EIPIN Diplome D'Honneur and her group's report on Discovery Proceedings was selected for publication on Berkeley Electronic Press.
Gail joined Kilburn and Strode in August 2009 and is currently working as a technical assistant specialising in Chemical Engineering.
