Sharon Kirby
Associate
Sharon obtained a BA honours degree in Philosophy from University College London. Following completion of the Law Conversion Course and Solicitors Finals' Examination, at the College of Law in London, she began her career in legal publishing. Whilst working in publishing, she studied part-time for an LLM in Intellectual Property and Media Law, again from UCL. She subsequently began training as a Trade Mark Attorney in private practice in London in 2001 and qualified as a European Trade Mark Attorney in 2006. Sharon joined Kilburn & Strode in 2007 and became an Associate of the Firm in 2008. She advises on a range of trade mark matters and is well versed in handling all aspects of trade mark prosecution work before the UK IPO and OHIM (which deals with European Registrations). She has experience of working for clients in a variety of sectors, including publishing and pharmaceuticals.
