Julia Venner
Associate

Julia graduated with a first class BA Honours degree in Biological Sciences from New College, Oxford in 2003, specialising in the biology of plant and animal disease and animal biology. Her finals project involved research into sexual selection in the Dengue Fever vector Aedes aegyptii, using a behavioural and physiological approach, with a view to the development of optimal males for use in the sterile insect technique of eradication.

Julia joined Kilburn and Strode in September 2004 and works in patents, specialising in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

Julia obtained the Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary College, University of London in 2006, and qualified as a European Patent Attorney and UK Patent Attorney in 2009.
