Peter Barrett
Associate
Peter obtained an MPhys Honours degree in Physics from the University of Oxford in 2001, specialising in condensed matter and atmospheric Physics. His final year project involved the use of high power electronic components to create a novel electromagnet power supply. Peter entered the profession in 2002 and joined Kilburn and Strode in August 2004. He qualified as a European Patent Attorney and as a UK Patent Attorney in 2008. Peter is experienced in handling the prosecution of patent portfolios around the world. An important part of Peter's practice is advising sole inventors, small companies and University spin-outs on the commercial concerns of obtaining appropriate patent protection. Peter's broad background in physics is well utilized in various aspects of his work, from the applications of spatial light modulators, to rendering methods for autostereoscopic displays.
