Alexander Korenberg

Alexander read Physics at Imperial College, London, including a year abroad in France at the Ecole Nationale Superieure De Physique Grenoble and the ILL neutron source. Graduating in 1998 with First Class Honours he moved to University College London where he obtained a PhD in Computational Neuroscience in 2002. Alexander is a member of the Institute of Physics.
Since 2002, Alexander has worked for Kilburn & Strode, qualifying as Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney in 2006. He has experience in all aspects of patent prosecution in the UK, before the European Patent Office and worldwide, including the opposition and appeal procedures before the EPO.
Working in a wide range of technical fields ranging from mechanical inventions to electronics and IT for a client base including technology transfer, SME and multinational corporate clients, Alexander is particularly interested in Life Science Instrumentation, Medical Physics and Bio-Engineering, Computer Operating Systems and Object Oriented Programming, Delivery of Entertainment Services, Wireless Communications and the Control of Electrical Machines.
Alexander is a contributing editor for the upcoming edition of “The Patents Training Manual” published by the Chartered Institute of Patent Agents. He is fluent in German and French.
