Important Rule Changes at the European Patent Office

With important European Patent Office rule changes taking effect on 1 April 2010, we are pleased to offer two pertinent articles: Rule Changes at the EPO and Filing Divisional Applications at the EPO. The first note relates to amendments and responses on ex-PCT patent applications in the European regional phase. The second explains new conditions under which European divisional patent applications will be able to be filed.
