We have a vacancy in our London office for a person to join our Chemistry team. The position offers a challenging mix of technology and work-type.

One aspect of the position will involve working closely with a high profile multi-national in the chemical field. This client has a large portfolio of cases for which we handle EP prosecution, numerous EP oppositions and provide general advice. We are also involved in this client’s EP litigation team. You will have the opportunity to work in all of these areas.

The other aspect of the position is to work with our clients in the pharmaceutical chemistry field, in the areas of EP and world-wide prosecution, FTO opinions, SPC applications and due diligence. For an initial period, this will include part of the portfolio of a partner on maternity leave (a variety of cases, including direct clients and original drafting work).

We are looking for a qualified EP and UK Patent Attorney with 2-5 years post-qualification experience. Experience at oral proceedings would be beneficial. An interest and proven success in developing business is an advantage. Travel on behalf of the firm will be needed.

Salary: commensurate with experience
