Our main asset is our people. To be the best, we have to recruit and retain professionals with the right blend of technical, commercial and communications skills. Of the many who apply to join our firm, we only select those whom we believe will make a positive difference to our existing team by enhancing our rich mix of skills and experience for the benefit of our clients.
All professional staff have a first degree in a relevant subject which for patent attorneys and trainees is an appropriate scientific or engineering discipline. Many also have higher or further degrees or other legal qualifications, for example solicitors and barristers. Amongst the professional staff we have French, German, Spanish and Hungarian speakers. We cover a wide range of technical backgrounds - mechanical, electronic, chemical and aeronautic engineers. All partners, associates and consultants are qualified as European and UK patent attorneys, trade mark attorneys or both.

We are equally interested in our people's commercial and communications skills so that we can build and sustain successful relationships with our clients. It is not enough just to know the relevant legal framework.
